The Smiths

From top to bottom: Anna Smith / Pyjama-Girl - Anna is a 16 year old girl that is obsessed with superheroes, art, fanfiction and a boy in her class called Jack Monroe. She's not a shy person but she can get overwhelmed easily and acts on her emotions then her brain. When she was a little girl, her dream was to one day become a superhero. Fortunately for her, she is also the butt-kicking superhero known as 'Pyjama-Girl' (or "P-G" for short).

Nicole Smith / Mary-Jane Smith - The moody but responsible older sister. She's your typical goth girl that falls in the middle of looking after her little sister Anna and trying to find her own place in the world. Mary-Jane Smith - MJ is the mother of Anna and Nicole, being a widow and a single parents comes at the price of being overly protective of her kids doings. They are both unaware of Anna's secret identity and probably wouldn't take the truth well if they knew...

The Monroes

From bottom to top: Jack Monroe / CrimeBuster - Jack Monroe is a 16 year old boy that is a flamboyant and confident person who is dating the school's emo; Max Kingston. Jack grew up with a father who didn't think much of him, once he abandoned his son his mother Zoey Monroe picked up the pieces.

Evelyn Smith / Zoey Smith - Unlike Anna, both of Jack's parents know of his secret identity. From this they get closer to each other and have some fun with the idea that their son is a superhero. Evelyn is a primary school teacher by trade, she quiet and really positive. Zoey is the opposite, she's very loud and opinionated especially towards most men in the world (aside from her son of course).

The Best Friends

What’s a main character without their supporting cast? Here we have Chloe, a super shy girl that has a sickening crush on Anna, she’s too scared to admit that to her and Anna is too dumb to realise, truly a greek tragedy. Next is Kate, she’s Anna’s oldest and best friend. Kate is well mannered, punctual and considerate, all things Anna could learn herself. She might come off as a bit cold to some (with her fav colour being blue not helping), but she warms up to her mates easily.

Bethany is your typical anime nerd. If there’s an anime you like, obscure or not, chances are she owns it on VHS or DVD. Only Kate and Bethany know Anna’s secret double life (for now)… Lastly we have the little couple that could, Sam and Julie. Sam is a typical gym buff, she goes frequently and is into sports. Julie is a semi rich girl who has a beauty channel and loves fashion. Sam comes off as tough but she’s quite sensitive (especially around her little Julie). Julie seems like an innocent little girl, but if you even look at her Sam funny… watch out…

The Podcasters

Two of Dundershire’s most popular podcast shock jocks, well not really but you have to draw in those 20 followers somehow. Alice and Skye run ‘The Hero Talk Podcast’, hosted from Alice’s bedroom, they try to get the scoop on Pyjama-Girl’s whereabouts. Unfortunately for them, they can never catch her in time for that interview.

Alice McBride comes from a proud Scottish household, all she wants is to be the first person to uncover Pyjama-Girl’s true identity. Skye is best friends with Alice and she too also wants to uncover the girl behind the mask. As a trans girl, Skye knows the feeling of blind hatred from idiots so she’s a lot softer on Pyjama-Girl’s antics.
